Love Rockport (and Cape Ann) for the community of creativity and beauty of land and sea. My husband (artist Robert Williams) and I are inspired every day. I wrote two books since I have been here: Moss on Stone: an historical novella based on the diary of a young Rockport woman, Susannah Norwood Torrey who lived on Plesant St. in the mid-nineteenth century and Time and Tide: a collection of tales (both available on Amazon. I co-chaired, the first writers conference on Cape Ann: The Dogtown Writers Festival: Finding Words in Place in 2019 and served on the Gloucester Writers Center board, have facilitated poetry workshops at the Center and participated in the recent Rockport Poetry Festival--a wonderful event. I write poetry, essays and fiction in my "retirement" from teaching World Literatur and Writing. Visit my blog at cosmicseanotes.blogspot.com
